DarkStellar / Setup guide

Set up your TradingView indicator.

From access approval to your first chart. This guide covers the practical checks for invite-only indicators, including DarkStellar products.

Updated 13 September 2026 · TradingView menu names and plan limits can change.

1. Check your TradingView username

Invite-only access is granted to a TradingView username. Supply the exact username shown on your TradingView profile, rather than your email address or display name. If you supplied the wrong username with a DarkStellar order, contact us with your order reference and the correct username.

2. Wait for access approval

DarkStellar enables indicator access manually after payment is confirmed. A payment receipt alone does not mean TradingView access has already been granted. Check the delivery information on your product page and any order communication.

3. Add the indicator to a chart

Sign in to the authorised TradingView account and open a chart. Open the Indicators menu and look for your invite-only scripts. Select the indicator to add it. If it is missing, refresh TradingView, confirm which account is signed in and check that access has been enabled.

4. Start with the default settings

Choose your market and chart timeframe, then open the indicator settings. Start with the supplied defaults before changing several settings at once. For multi-timeframe tools, check every selected timeframe and understand whether a value uses a completed candle or the current unfinished candle.

Keep higher-timeframe context separate

A higher-timeframe candle can remain open while several lower-timeframe candles complete. Its values may change before it closes. A historical chart or screenshot alone cannot establish that a developing value would have been available at the time.

5. Check any alerts you create

Use the alert conditions exposed by the indicator and read the product’s explanation of each condition. Check the symbol, timeframe and notification channel. Decide whether you need intrabar updates or candle-close confirmation. After changing indicator settings, check whether an existing TradingView alert needs to be recreated to use the new settings.

6. Save and review your layout

Save the chart layout after confirming the indicator is attached to the intended symbol. Check the same layout on your phone if you use both devices. TradingView determines account-specific limits on indicators, alerts and other platform features.

Common access problems

The indicator is not listed
Confirm the exact username, the logged-in TradingView account and the access approval status. Refresh after access is granted.
The chart looks different from the preview
Compare the symbol, data feed, session, timeframe and indicator settings. Product renders are illustrations; chart outputs depend on market data and configuration.
An alert did not behave as expected
Review its selected condition, candle-close setting, active status and notification destination. Check TradingView’s plan and alert limits.

Before using the output in a trading decision

Test the settings with historical examples and forward observation. An indicator provides calculations and visual context; it does not establish that an entry is suitable or that a trade will be profitable. Keep your own risk limits and decision rules.
